Can you bypass the Naze and hookup the camera to the vtx?

The camera has a 4 pin connector on both ends and the VTX has a 6 or 7 pin connector so not compatible unfortunately.

But the board is definitely talking to CleanFlight?

Thanks for all of the info. Do you recall the firmware version? I wonder if thats my problem. The receiver is bound to my DX8 but there is no movement in cleanflight

Here is what I did to get mine in the air:
1. Left the props off
2. Bound the Rx to my DX8. Some previous posts will help you with that.
3. Downloaded the cleanflight plugin for Chrome and started it up
4. Plugged the Naze32 controller into my computer via a USB cable from my cell phone
5. Cleanflight automatically connected to it after the USB driver was auto-installed
6. Followed the 4 minute video above to make sure my throttle, yaw, roll and pitch controls were correct. I had to reverse my yaw channel and cleanflight made this very easy for me to see.
7. The video also makes a very important point about the value of the throttle and yaw to make it arm. I had to increase the endpoints a few percent to make it arm for those two channels.
8. I was able to arm the S250 then went to the tab that test the motors. It was cool to be able to spin them up individually.
9. Put the props on and flew it.

I did not mess with with upgrading the firmware and it flies fine as is.

I was also confused as to why there was not any instructions in the box on how to set it up. It took me several hours of research yesterday but in the end, I figured it out. Hope this helps someone else.

Hmmm...check the UART settings, maybe its mis-configured for a Spektrum satellite. You could also try another satellite to see if thats the problem

Yes, I checked that. It won't let me change it as it automatically detects the satellite. I do have another satellite I can try

I have even disconnected the satellite completely and it will not let me change any setting relating the receiver

It's in a previous post... https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...6&postcount=37

One thing different, my DX8 is a G2.
