can you explain your mods in more detail? How did you integrate the minimosd and get channel scanning thanks.

Very nice! I supposed you can now have the Race band after the mod. BTW, there is a micro MinimOSD which is tiny. Maybe it can fit inside the watch.

I would buy it if someone can improve the video range, i saw my buddy has it but as soon as the quad move among the trees the signal lost at 30m. Someone need to do some range mods asap cos this little gadget looks too tempting.

I've received this Gteng FPV watch and opened it up and checked out the space inside. From the measurement, I can fit the micro MinimOSD in it. However, the OSD requires 5V input and needs another 3 to 5V step-up convertor. Not sure if I can fit both modules.

I've another idea is to just reflash the STM8S103 with a custom firmware, so as to enable the Race band and autoscan. For autoscan to work, we also need to solder a wire from the RSSI pin of the RX5808 to one of the unused GPIO pin on the STM8. I've traced most of the pins, except a few which I still don't know its functions. Anyone interested in this?

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I live in Hong Kong and the shipping from US or Germany is too expensive.

Can you provide info on the pinouts etc that you have traced?

So far, I've traced the pins by just looking at the photos. I'm planning to verified them by actually measuring the connections later. I'll post the pinouts after it's done. Do you have any specific modding in your mind?
