Is the super nova 2 a specific lipo charger? A quick google search does not reveal any super nova charger that can charge lipos.

Yes it is designed for lipo batteries. I have used it for 2 weeks without any trouble.

Once again, an accident, series-charging a 3s pack.

Is it one of these?

I can't find a superNova 2 either. The SuperNova 250s is all I can find. A picture would be helpful.

Couple of questions -
Is it "Auto Cell count" on LiPo setting or do you set the cell count or pack charge voltage?
Does it state how the lipo's are charged? For instance, CV/CC? )Constant Current/Constant Voltage). Timed charge?

I am using the SUPERNOVA 3000 version 2 to charge a 3 cell lipo.
It seems to terminate correctly, but I have trouble getting it to start charging.

Manual setting of charging voltage and current.
After charging for 1 minute it checks the battery voltage and gives an error if it is too low.
It is a CC/CV charger.
