Could be my next foamie. Unless the price is outrageous, of course.

Looks nice, but I bet its in the 300.00 range. Too much for a foamie IMO. Also see the AS3X decal. No need for a stabilizer in something like that.

This is how rumors get started.

The price is significantly less than that. Not sure when they're going to announce. I would guess tomorrow, but that's only a guess.

I need one of these new Radians! I am guessing $279.99 from Horizon for a BNF model when it is released.

Radian vs Radian XL Size Simulation

Here's a quick PhotoShop size comparison. I scaled a Radian up to a 2.6m wingspan and superimposed it on the the original 2m version's leading edge. Made the assumption that the tail and fuselage on the new Radian XL will also be scaled proportionally (130% increase). Should be a fairly accurate depiction of the relative sizes.

If the additional area is mostly foam, and one were to equip it with same drivetrain as stock Radian (or smaller!), you would think wing loading would be even lighter than stock Radian. unless spoiler servos, wires, horns, etc., eat up some of that gain.

Is this Bigfoot or is it real???

R/C addict...
If this comes in a BNF-Basic, this might just supplant my perceived need to jump straight to a Mystique, especially since I wouldn't have to also purchase all the electronics for inside. Very good!!

Bigger version with spoilers should be pretty good . Build a kit add covering and radio gear and see how much that costs. Plus foam is easier to repair.
