Any of Pauls DVD series on soaring or building is a must for the new or intermediate flyer/soarer IMO. I really enjoy how he explains things whether its on a whiteboard or in the field. Ive already passed the link onto my 2 daughters for this series for the upcoming fathers day. Would much rather have this DVD/digital download collection instead of cookies or anything else they might get me. A line on my bucket list would be to have a chance to fly with Paul for a day.

This is another indispensable video that Paul Naton makes available for download. I've purchased my copy earlier this week and along with all his other instructional videos, this is also an excellent video.

Couldnt wait for fathers day so I ordered this set the other day and just finished watching the 4th video. Paul does an excellent job describing thermal activites, how to hunt for them and the proper way to stay in the cores, plus setting up a sail plane correctly. Thanks to David Hobby also. I learned quite a bit from watching him work his Onyx around. Now if they just had thermals here in Indy. 6 months and havent been able to get in one yet, AAARRRGGH!! Kind of kidding though. I know Im out there too early in the mornings to really run across one yet, but am learning more and more with each outing. Had the Radian out Sunday (before dawn) yesterday and this morning too just out floating around in the morning air. All 3 days have had just a slight wind and love getting up to height and letting it sit there in the head winds. I highly recommend this set of videos to anyone that soars. Rookies, novices and even the guys that think their pros.

Is this a re-release of the version published a few years ago or is it new content? There were two DVDs IIRC ... ?

Hi Tom,

This is an all new video for more advanced thermal pilots, though there are lots of tips and techniques for intermediates too. DVD and digital editions available.
