Prepped, ready for a maiden / test flight this afternoon.

I only partially sanded the lower fuselage, I will finish it later once it survives the first flight!

I also changed my elevator control linkage arrangement to the EDF layout as I had split my carbon tube and it was twisting

Managed to maiden the f-16 Falcon, and it flew really well! very pleased!

It wasn't as fast as I'd hoped, but it was no slouch. I think the CG was a bit too far back, so it was really pitchy and wanted to climb all the time.

I tried again with some down trim and 5mm further forward CG and it was better but still needs to go forward.

The elevator throws were also a little bit aggressive even with 40% expo so I will be adjusting the servo linkages to reduce the travel and moving the CG forward approximately 10 mil next time.

I managed to have a mock dogfight with my buddy though, and It handles nicely. Roll was good, but not rapid. I think for rapid roll, you will need to take the ailerons right out to the wingtips.

I think the ailerons could be widened to increase roll agility, (for dogfighting) but it's not really necessary.
