New to EDF - Opinions please! Best handlaunch parkflyer sized EDF jet model
I know there are guys out there with an opinion. I'd like to try my hand at a Jet EDF. I don't want to hassle with the bungee launch stuff. I would like good performance however. I typically have models on the order of the Switchback, SA Cap etc. as far as size and power systems.

It really depends on what you are looking for. If you want something more scale-like, I'd recommend either the Alfa Mig-15 or the Flying Styro F-16. Both are great parkie jets.

I just had a alfa mig-15, now deceased...rip. It flew great, very fast, but very stable in air. It was my first edf, and i had previously flown only a potensky eagle (very slow). Make sure you add a wing spar to the back of the mig wings, and also add some balsa strips or some fiberglass tape lining the inside of the fuselage, as many have had the wings rip off in mid air, which was my problem.
