151min30sec flight-time with Copter (FPV)

Hello over here ...
since quite a while I am working on a new personal best with my copter, but today I manages that I get a reasonable flying time together with all SD-Cards are working, all SD-cards have enough space, all involved devices and their batteries are working, and finally the weather conditions are - well - useable.

2h 31min 30 sec flying-time

The flight plan was to fly with an average speed of 20-30km/h in big circles, but unfortunately the wind raised during the flight up to 20km/h so that the second half of the flight was done in hover only.

Here the details of the copter

DIY Frame with 20mm square CF rods (HK)
ESC: Hobbyking 30A
propeller: Foxtech surpreme 28"
FC: Naza V1
FPV: HD-cam + 5,8Ghz VTX + EXTiny
Copter about 1900gr
Battery about 4200gr
AUW : 6100gr.

Akku 6S8P GeBattery means 6S48000 on paper, during the flight I used 44000mAh

Don't you loose efficiency when props facing down and the motors do not cool off as if the props facing up? For example, in X8 configuration, the bottoms motors get more hot.

The motor do not heat up (possibly 1-2C above ambient after flight).

You might lose a little efficiency from the prop because the airflow is disrupted by the structure and the motor versus a tractor configuration. However, in a tractor configuration you end up with the prop thrust hitting the structure which negates some of the thrust (Newton's law). In a pusher configuration the airflow just in front of the prop (where the motor is) is accelerated by the prop thrust (low pressure fill to replace the air moved by the prop) such that the airflow just before the prop is pretty much the same as just behind (if it is not, the prop will stall). Therefore, it doesn't really matter whether the motor is in front of the prop or behind as far as cooling goes (if you have direct drive props/motors).

Battery is a GE 6S8P of 6100mAh cells (GEB 8043125), just the same as in the 129min flight 3 year ago, but double the amount.

Could this be fitted with Navio2 and no cam instead? And carry a 200g payload? Maybe a little faster instead of extreme duration? Maybe like down to 50 minutes?
