While we are at SEFF we got to spend some time with Quique Somenzini, David Ribbe and Seth Arnold from Flex Innovations. We also shot some Mamba video!

Electric Powered Mamba 70!

The RCGroups team got to see the 70cc Mamba at Toledo but we got to see her in the air at SEFF! The weather wasn't great but Seth's flying was! We shot some videos and photos and have a run down on how to electrify your Mamba.

  • Prop: Mekzlik 25x12s
  • ESC: Castle 160A
  • Lipo: Potenza 5000 6s 60C x 2

Electric Conversion Info

The Mamba was designed with electric conversion in mind. The forward hatch offers quick access to batteries and connectors. The 'fuel tank tray' is located to work as a basis for a battery Tray/Mount.

Nice Job Quique and company!
This plane has so much potential because of the AUW of 19-20 lbs and 2000 sq inches of wing ! 100cc wing area and 70 cc weight. ....
