Hi all.

I've a crash with my quad with no more damages than a brand new NanoTech 4s 1800mAh 90-135C with a lazy cell (#1).

I can charge it from balance situation, but it discharges quicker than the rest and I don't trust the pack

My project is to modify the pack to convert it to 3S.

Any advise? Shall I do it? Go to recycling point with it?

No puff, no external signs (scratches). It's expensive and new.

Do it. Just youtube it.
There should be many hits...BUT...you may need some of that special solder in order to tin and solder aluminum and solder aluminum to copper.

As it was the first cell, I've decided to keep it. 5 min work.
I didn't change the balance plug either

A fellow club member had a new one with a bad cell. I ordered a single new one from HK with the same specs to replace it. That was a couple of yrs ago, and it's still going strong.
