Thanks a lot Sir !

i try to work on the CL-415 as soon as i have some free time available to work on Rc models.

I added some plywood reinforcements in the fuselage to strenghten the wing's seat area and i also added some foam on top of the cockpit roof because i had a little lack of foam (something like 1 to 1.5 mm ).

Now i think i will work on how and where to fix the rudder and elevator servos and how to build their push rods...

Yesterday at night i started to work on the elevator and rudder's control rods

Both of them are in the fuselage now.

Tonight i think to glue the "U" that will link the horizontal stabilizer's moving parts ; cut and add some 0.8mm thick drilled plywood square to reinforce the area where the CF control rods pass through the bulkheads and, if i have anough time to start to work on the removable wing system.

At this time the CL-415 weight is 165g

cheers !

last week update :

Rear Wing's fixation is finished
The front wing fixation is cut and ready to be glued on the wing.
The two Push rods are ready to be linked to the servos and the mobile surfaces.
The elevator is glued on the rudder
The leading edges of both the rudder and stab are sanded in a more or less round shape
The rudder's dome is started
The rudder and elevators are ready to be articulated (i will use Blenderm adhesive tape as hinges, once the plane will be painted).

More to come ASAP...

A little update on the CL-415 :

Elevator and rudder control rods are finished and last week-end i covered the wing with brown Kraft paper.

The wing's weight before covering with kraft paper was 50g (1.76 Oz.) and once covered the wing's weight is now 88g (3.10 Oz.).

Thank you very mcuh Vtdiy,

I hope the very nice foamie Seaplane you are building will be in the air soon !

I just had a look on your blog, i like a lot your "P-38 pusher" and the WWI planes you made (SE5 and Fokker DVII), they looks to be very nice fliers.

Congratulations for all that good work !
Great job !

Hello !

This is some news of the CL-415 :

i started to cover with brown kraft paper the bottom of the fuselage in the purpose of strengthening it and protecting the foam.

The canopy template is finished and it gave birth to a clear part cut into a PETG die-cut.

After some folding, that clear PETG part was stuck on the CL-415 using "Formula 560" canopy glue.

See you soon !

It start to smell the paint job, and it reminds me that i shall start to work to draw the water decal markings asap !!
