Tragic case

Marcus Moecklis's plane certainly looks worthy of the photos.

Top driven flaps and ailerons and a T Tail. Certainly a very clean looking wing. Its interesting because I believe the recommendation is/was that the Surprise's fly better without flaps.

Yes. It was flown by one of the Japanese contingent and launched via bungee. As powered at the pre world's contest it was slow.

Very nice pictures.

But I agree the reports were rain and clouds.

These must be photos from the event held in the Bahamas.

Ok why top driven surfaces.

I was allways told that you wanted the most critical surface (top on non-symetrical airfoils) to be the cleanest.
