70" f18 PUSHER - colaboration

I'm working on a 70" F18 pusher. The original model came from grabcad and looks like it was based on scale 3-view drawings. I'm remodeling it in Rhino so that I can modify the design for my own purposes.

I've already built large scale F16 /SU37 pushers so, I already have some experience with this size of aircraft.

My current problem is that I don't have a lot of time for building right now. I'm looking for someone to either share some of the design work or beta build the plane.

Once done, I'll release full drawings and models to the forum.

I'll post some pictures of my current large scale planes and what I've got for the f18 design.

Pictures of current build/re-builds and model for F18 attached.

I've modeled the rudder, stabs, canopy & internal surfaces. Will do the wings next. Fuse later. Only have the odd weekend to work on this.

Have some free time over the holidays.
Printed and cut templates.
I cut all the sections and taped it together. Sections are 2" thick.
Looks big. Now I need to cut the centers out of the sections and start working on some of the internal details.

I've been following those builds. He uses a Cnc hot wire to cut his sections. Very nice!

I'm building low tech. Sections are printed and glued to cardboard and then cut by hand. I then have to pin the sections to the foam and wire cut by hand.

Printed up the nose cone and exhaust just to see what it looks like.
Without being cored out, the solid fuse weighs 1020gm.

Wow. That's looking good. What's the wing span going to be? That's the same process I use to build. Getting ready to do a big edf 90mm F-16.

I've gotten back into building. Rudder and elevator mounts are in place. The 3d printer has been allot of help with this.
Both rudder and elevator will be removable

I've attached photo's.

Elevator pivots. All 3D printed.
The 3d model lets me print parts to match with surfaces.
