My day at Fermin

Pictures pretty much sum it up.

It appears, the lead to my battery was no good

I see this as an opportunity to put a 6% rg 14, and increase the weight to 75oz, at least that's the silver linning I'm working with

wow that solder joint looks nasty... corroded, and most likely from flux inside the solder joint...Assuming that they soldered it, it could have been crimped... in critical operations like the battery I prefer to crimp the contact onto the wire and then add a touch of solder to add that extra level of security. I am going to pull the pack out of my 109 and give it a good QC inspection... my condolences Bill....

I watched my "baby" take up new ownership, treat her well, and she will kick butt where ever you to.

Well... I showed up after the mishap...saw Bill out there flyin something else, and someone else said how bummed they would be.... Bill basically made reference to the reality of sloping, and accidents... basically his attitude and outlook was definitely coooooool!! Heres a picture of Bill ------>

I probably helps to have backup planes... I cant wait till I have to drive my pickup truck like Bill, because they all cant fit in the camaro....

Heres another shot of Bill --------->

Don't worry, I'm still looking to place blame, Dan is always a good candidate. Someone should have told me to check my battery leads .

What a bummer. Geeze I hope that does not happen with my p51. All that work on painting and all. Unfortunately that is also part of our hobby.

But what we want to know, is, what did you wear to the Symphony?

And, exactly how did you wear your hair?
