Im expecting it to be priced at or below the falcon 250, but have not had any sure info yet from the source. If you want any specific things checked out let me know, also remember this is not the officially released version so may vary slightly from what is finally produced.
Thank you for your interesting presale review of the prototype EF180. Given that you appear to be part of BG and seem to know a bit about FPV quads, will the relevant BG team be made aware of the issues that you have raised so that they can be rectified before the EF180 goes on sale? For instance, the EF250 FC USB port was inaccessible without repositioning the Rx. You have already identified the same problem on the EF180 prototype.

It seems strange that an issue highlighted as a significant inconvenience in most EF250 reviews should be repeated again in the EF180.

Lol, no, all except this one.

I am sure they will do a nice job too, but like someone else said, a point of view from someone with less experience with setting up a racer can be interesting as well. Someone with plenty of experience often instantly alters firmware, changes PID settings etc, to tune to his personal liking, and doesn't spend much time with how it's out of the box, because it's clear that it will fly better with extra tuning etc. But then people that haven't ever flashed firmware yet, and will for a while just fly it stock, will see a very different performance.

That's true also ....

For those who already have a sample, are the rates faster than on the 250 falcon? Is it as punchy?

Cool! Nice that you managed to be able to send more samples than the 5 that were mentioned earlier.

Btw, I know I have to lose some weight, but writing my name in multiple, with extra "s" seems a little over the top.

Does it come with spare props? What size props does it use stock?

The specifications say compatible with 4inch prop even it use 2300 kv motors.
I plan to use the King Kong 4045 I bought for the Assassin

I bought some of the Kingkong 4045 props for my EA180 too. However, the EF180 appears to use something more like the DAL 4045 or Gemfan 4045 bullnose props. Given that the EF180 is basically a 180 sized EF250, I suspect the Gemfan 4045 3 blade props would work very well.
