ladybird beetle/gws easybug

loved Mr. Lin's idea of the Easy Bug, but I thought it would be pretty easy to just build one from materials I had under the bench. It came out pretty well I think. 20" dia. 10 1/2" head dia. 24" long 6 x 12" rounded tail ready to fly wt. 11.4 oz. Its made from foam board with the paper dry stripped off the bottom side and a styrofoam bar from some packing. The IPSA did not have enough power, so it has a 350C for power and a 2S 950 li-poly battery. GWS 4 ch. rec., and mixer, 3 pico servos. I looked up the ladybug in a field guide for proper color and spots.

I still have one which i have not really even flown yet.

It is pretty banged up though.

And the cat i think jumped on it.

Time to maybe scratchbuild one.

I am no good at drawing, i wonder if there is a template for the wing somewhere?
