Wa hooo the Silicon Conformal coating arrived just now so I raced to my shop and coated all the ESC 's and the strobes. Water protection don't ya know.
Next is to do the final inspection of the connections then if they pass. Do the shrink wrap and get them into the tubes.
Then I can crimp or solder up the ends. Sahh Wheet

good times lol

I have a second frame to put the last two arms on then its time to test the board for cross connections.

Gnd to Strobe Signal
ESC Signal to 5vdc

GND to PWM for the ESC
Pwm to Tel

if this passes then its power up and look for smoke. If that passes then its on to Hall sensor connections and then FC connections.
Then video and lastly gimbal.

This is the gimbal I have and the frame was designed to support.
I don't think it's available anymore..but it may be found used. If you find a different gimbal and need some help building mounts or something like that..Let me know

Locking Mech Details

Scott here are some additional details around the locking mech.
The first diagram show the new versus old parts. These need to be taken into account if you want to move to the new mech.
Second shows the filed down screw that locks into the plate and the 3rd is the 3d part.

That doesn't mean a regular gimbal can't be used.
All that we need to do is sort out the mounting and if its sbus or pwm controlled.

Ok arms are now on all frames.
Getting ready to do the next batch of tests.

I need to check for accidental cross connections.
