Help!
Dx9 flap menu and channel assignment
I'm trying to set up a 4 servo wing on the dx9. I set the wing in the wing type menu. Where do I find the menu to set up the flaps and assign the ports on the rx and tx? Very confused here. The manual says the flap menu should be there when the correct wing type is selected but I can't find it.

I out the flaps on aux 1&2 and still can't get any movement out of the servos. I did check the servos on another chanel and both work. Do I need to y harness them?

Is there a "flaps" menu? If so, where do you access it?

@planeaddiction - Yes, you access it once you enable a Flap Wing Type. Once you have selected the proper wing type that includes Flap(s) the Flap Menu will be visible in the list of Functions.
The Flap Menu will show as Inhibit when you first access it and until you enable a switch for it, 2 position switch will give you 2 position for the Flap Menu function will a 3 position switch gives you 3. |

Maybe that's my problem. The flap menu does not show up.

If you are using an Acro model, then you must select an appropriate Wing Type in the Aircraft Type menu. Not all wing types support flaps. In Acro the Flap System screen controls what movements occur. This menu does not show up unless you have a valid wing type. And it's on the Function List, not the System Setup menu.
If you are using a Sail model, then the name changes from Flap System to Camber Presets. Andy |
