ZMR250 from ebay ( Cheap as chips airframe )

The cheapest 250mm Airframe I could find for 250FPV ...
Well I ordered a bunch of stuff to build a 250FPV , still waiting on a few things ( motors especially )

But the airframe arrived , so decided to see how well it went together , and to see the overall weight ..

164 grams just in case you cant wait ... As pictured .
Advertised @ 131g ( Which I thought a little light for glass fiber )

The kit assembled very easily , the holes were very accurately drilled , and there were maybe 4 bolts that needed some force to go through both bottom frames and motor arms .

I would suggest not following the instructions , but rather assemble the top part of the frame first , then the bottom with control arms ..

Again , very easy to assemble , there were no challenges ..
Thread locking will occur after motors are mounted and test run .

This is my first quad build , and I have nothing to compare it too quad build wise ,

1) 164grams
2) Holes are very accurate
3) Wasn't remotely challenging to assemble the frame
4) Very stiff and appears to be very strong
5) Cheap , very !

Both of these were built from super cheap ebay chinese knock offs. The quad was a couple dollars more and is just a CF/ glass mix. The tricopter used to fly as a quad, but wanted to spend the rest of its life as a tricopter. I call it Caitlan.
