One last sorta-anti-dust-dot vid for Dale!

You can always not watch them, just like I choose not to watch Tube’s videos because I find his beach flying to be unsafe and irresponsible. The choice is yours.
Maybe we should both publicly admit that we can’t stand each other and pretend that each other doesn’t exist. I’m certainly willing. |

Flew two more packs through the 800mm T-28 before sundown. Really starting to like this little plane!

Maiden Flight
I finally flew with the Jumper T16. Transferred all models into it along with Amber voice pack added to the British gal of JumperTX.
Used an older FlySky receiver, worked fine. Maiden flight of the S600. It flew good, is an excellent cruiser, very stable. Doesn't want to do cool stuff but at full throttle I can force it to have fun. Good vertical performance, good enough glide to land with zero throttle. Flew for eight minutes on 3s 2200mah. Specifies 3s 3200 Flew at a grass field since road is still closed in other direction, forgot the camera. Quote:

I have a few hard cases and wondered how to tell the lipo's condition. I guess split the hard case and look inside once in a while?? |

If a hard case puffs it typically splits the hard case open at the seam

Trip wrap up
Let's not get crazy here. On the vaca, the best week was last week when we spent 3 days in Marathon and 3 days in Fort Myers Beach. Marathon was the best, both weather wise and doing stuff wise. I actually got Maureen (and ME) into a kayak and out of a kayak. In between those amazing feats of derring doo, I paddled us around 200 yards, which was all my aching back could take! But it was notable. Also, we drove to Key West where not only did I get my feet wet in the ocean but when we had dinner we shared a Margarita sampler-4 small margaritas of different flavors.
Fort Myers Beach could have been a LOT better-temps were in the 60's at best, it was cloudy and very windy. Besides that, our room was like a glorified closet. Very tiny with no chair or desk of any kind. Still, we toughed it out and we walked the touristy area and the fishing pier. I actually caught 2 small fishies which I threw back. And we had the best tasting strawberry Margaritas! Sunday we left Florida and headed north. We spent a night in GA, a night in TN, last night in VA and now she is in her house and I am in my trailer looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. The trip all in all was pretty good and we didn't break the bank. We split the costs more or less 50/50. The driving was tedious, but I am (was) after all a professional driver so I am good at it. The only expense I tracked was lodging and we split the total-about $660 each. That was for 17 nights. We alternated paying for the gas fill ups and we did the same with meals so we won't know the exact figures there but it's pretty even. Moe was very happy with the way the trip went, and I am thinking ahead to maybe doing it again...Can you say Mardi Gras?? Who knows?? Thanks to all of you for your support, and especially to Brian and Ben in Orlando. As for flying, at the hotel in TN, I took out the Little Timber and had a few circles in a tight parking lot, and that was it. I asked Moe to film but the result was so underwhelming it wasn't worth saving. Ce la vie. |

I'm pleased you two kids made it home in good shape and now you know what I mean about travel. I love traveling I just hate driving so we stay most places for an extended period time. B " I love travel but I'm not so fond of driving" |
