Pixhawk 2.4.8

Anyone had experience of a Pixhawk PX4 version numbered '2.4.8'?

Several places are advertising them, but there is nothing I can find about them, bar what is in the advertising blurb.

Thanks in advance for any info.

EzUHF PPM works like charm.
Will test digital PWM RSSI next.
2.4 telemetry is interesting connect to WIFI and thats it, no plugin receiver.

Can anybody show inside photo ?
Is this 2.4.6 upgraded to new CPU without 1MB limitation or is this similiar to Pixhawk Lite ?

2.4GHz modules can seriously interfere with 2.4GHz radios... using a 2.4GHz telemetry module is, imho, a recipe for disaster

915MHz (and more so 433MHz, where legal) also have much better obstacle penetration and longer range

There is really no good reason to use a 2.4GHz telemetry module, as far as I'm concerned. Only downsides

I am using ezUHF 433 LRS system and 2.4 is free.
For video have 5.8 Ghz.

2.4 is probaly 300-500m (standard wifi range) and with external usb wifi dongle with directional antenna can be significantly enhanced.

Main advantage is no receiver part, can use any pc with wifi,
it is cheap 10$, and for first setup and checking good enough, probably better then bluetooth.
Weight and size, size of antenna is definitely plus.

For long distance even 433 or 915 mhz have limited range 1-2 miles (stock antennas), maybe more expensive variants of 250-500mw.

Minim OSD will work good for important info on display.

Downside for 2.4 is not for 2.4 radio, same as wifi cameras if used gopro, runcam 2...

But for first flight's and easy diagnostic, parameter change good enough.

Did not yet succeeded using it on android platform.

At the end it is just another option for telemetry, there are two ports and probably can use
both.
Some countries can not use 915 mhz ( legal reason), and first 433 had range issues due USB did make spikes on 433.

I am planning getting 250-500mw 915mhz version later for better telemetry range.
