House Fly swash plate assembly?

The section on Control Assembly on page 3 of the directions does not include a step showing the order in which the swash plate upper half, lower half, and bearing should be assmbled. Mario says that the bearing should sit on top of the aluminum plate. I've attached two photos, showing the two possibilities of assembly. If the bearing goes on top, how is the aluminum plate supported?

Here's the bearing above the aluminum swashplate.

Thanks!

The bearing goes through the bottom, opposite of what you have. I used CA to attach the outer race to the SP and the inner race to the black piece.

Yup that's the right way. Otherwise the ball ends would hit the SP.
