Mulitplex Rockstar vs. E-flite Ultimate 2

Hello RCG! So I'm a pretty decent R/C pilot and I love flying 3D and I'm pretty proficient. I fly mostly monoplanes but I bought a Phoenix Simulator and love flying the E-flite Beast 60e. I don't want to pulse buy one and want to buy a smaller 3D biplane to see if I like how they fly. So here are my questions :

1. How do you like flying 3D biplanes? Compared to monoplanes?

2. How do you compare the E-flite Ultimate 2 and Multiplex Rockstar?

3. Is the E-flite Beast 60e good for 3D?

4. Any shock flyers you recommend for front yard/park flying 3D?

Thanks!

I love them both, biplanes just have a different presence in the air.

I own them both, the Rockstar flies good but the Ultimate 2 flies fantastic and doesn't have the K/E coupling issues of the Rockstar that has to be programmed out.

3. Is the E-flite Beast 60e good for 3D?

I have one still in the box so I cannot comment on it yet. That said I think it will be very good or I would not have purchased it in the first place.

4. Any shock flyers you recommend for front yard/park flying 3D?

Just about anything from Twisted Hobbys will do you just fine.

Thanks!

Funny how this turned from a Discussion on some questions I had to "fangirling" about a new biplane....

Thank you Bob for your reply. I'll go with the Ultimate I think simply because it's the same size but much cheaper.

$350 for Ultimate with 3 batteries
L 38
WS 41

$600 for Rockstar with 3 batteries
L 41
WS 41

Just thought I'd let you know about a great looking bipe that's coming out since you didn't want to "pulse buy". Either way you will have fun with which ever one you go with. I love flying bipes! Happy flying.

I saw the P3, I'm not a fan of big foamies. They wear to easily for my taste. Let me know how you like it when you get it. Happy flying!
