Horizon Hobby - Outstanding service - Blade Inductrix
I don't often receive this kind of excellent service so it's only appropriate I write a review here.
This is concerning my Blade Inductrix that I bought in September 2015 from Horizon Hobby. The quad flew great out of the box, I got 4-5 minute flight times. I loved it for indoors stuff, but stopped using it for a few months while I had other occupations. I picked it back up a few weeks ago to notice the flight times had dropped to a minute or less and weren't getting any better. I flew many packs this way and they went back on the charger with 4.0v or so and took no time to charge - clearly the batteries weren't the problem. That, and it started experiencing odd glitches. The lights would go off for a split second during flight, then it would fly out of control into the ceiling. After its spaz episodes it would fly fine (though still short on flight time) I emailed Horizon a couple nights ago and started speaking with Divyesh M. In between my email and him getting back to me, the quad wigged out and smashed into the kitchen floor killing a motor in the process. At this point I'm pretty discouraged, this thing was nearly $90 shipped and Divyesh asked for a picture of it as well as proof of purchase. I looked and looked, and could not find my receipt email (I had provided the original order number initially), but I sent him a picture anyway. I informed him I did not know if it was under warranty and was okay with that, I just wanted it fixed. Divyesh responded yesterday stating they were sending a new Inductrix to my shipping address that was on file. I am extremely impressed with his and Horizon Hobby's service, and no longer discouraged at all. This kind of service is outstanding. Thank you Horizon, I will no doubt be ordering from you in the future. Justin |
