What freestyle/racing frame should I get?

Looking to build the ultimate quad, problem is I don't know what frame to get??

Alien 5"- expensive but awesome

Qav 210- awesome but overused

Qav R- A little expensive

Miksuko- never really see a TRUE x frame

Other options open!

What motors should I get also!

Xnova 2204-2300kv motors

Check out the Sky-Hero Anakin. There are 3 options, Classic, Club Racer 215 and 260 for 5 & 6 inch props.
I just ordered myself one of the originals for the diversity, it should be at my door this week.
I was going to use the Xnova motors but decided that because I'm new to fpv racing the MultiStar Elite 2204-2300kv motors would be less painful if I wreak any.

Just picked one of these up this weekend (Florotor and I race with the same group). Really high quality and innovative design.

I have Multistar elites, tough little motors. I packed them with mud, blew them out and kept on truckin. My favorite motors right now are the T-motor navigators, pricey but they are just so smooth.

I recently was in the same dilemma. I had a hard time deciding beween the alien and the qav- r. Both are top of the line designs but in the end, I settled on the qav-r, mainly due to it being in stock and being a few dollars cheaper didn't hurt. You can't go wrong either way. I like the idea of being able to swap arms on the fly. I figured I'd give the new quick swap PDB by luminier a shot too. My frame arrived today as a matter of fact and I plan to start lightly sanding the edges over the weekend. Overall, I'm really impressed with the quality of this frame.

the armattan f1 with its lifetime guarantee is also a good investment, at least you wont fly the quad like its made of glass.

My buddy flies an alien I fly a raceblade, qav-r, all KISS with 24@ esc. The blade is lighter, the alien is a tested and proven chassis. Either one can beat the other in a head to head race. These are the 2 frames id suggest, but look at the spaceone 220 xframe it's very nice, but not a good first build.
