You can't,.. it's a custom one-off.. And if it ever went up for sale, you'd be at the end of a que of eveyone else that's seen that bike before you..!

If only it was in production,... Mmmmm...!!!

I'm sure several of us are tracking one on ebay right now. I had a friend come into the LHS where I work on saturdays to show me one that had a nitro in it. I was sold on that alone. If i can get one i will do a conversion, if not I'll build one from scratch. It raises the bar on R/C bikes...ahhh....Dakar...

Yeah, I hear that CNR is about to unveil their Nitro converision kit soon.

I just picked up a "broken" bike for $43 including shipping - said the "rear gear was broken." The only problem with it was the rear shock is snapped in two - the rest of the bike looks pristine! Much better than the remanufactured one I paid $65 + shipping for that was in "good" condition...

I got a CNC micro mill a few months back and am sloooooowly working on making a few hop-ups for mine. I'd like to get one of them converted over to Nitro and eventually scratch build one. I'll need a lathe too before I can make an entire bike though.

Did the nitro one you saw still have the plastic swing arm in the rear? How about the front and rear plastic wheels? That rear wheel is going to take some work to replace and keep a gyro back there... I know of at least one person who was having problems with the gyro gear melting when running a brushless setup. I would think Nitro would be worse.

I've got too many ideas about what the do with the bike, but not enough time to work on it...

he made an aluminium swingarm, but the wheels were the same. It was in pieces when i saw it, having been in his closet for awhile, but he has promised to get it up and running again.

Katana2665, I thought you said it was the stock plastic rear wheel.

I wonder how that thing holds up to dirt, rocks, grass, and all the other crap that could get in there running off road. It also wouldn't spin nearly as fast as the stock gyro. I don't know the gearing on that thing, but keeps spinning for over a minute after stopping the bike sometimes...
