It does look well implemented.

As for the comment on price, unless its a product that will sell in tens of thousands, the price seems a reasonable reward for the effort that must have gone into designing and prototyping it.

Great Product

Prior to buying one of these, I flew my newly constructed Full House 500 into unbelievably tall brush and a somewhat swampy area on a 95 degree day because of an error on my behalf. No access road, no hills to climb and look down, no help anywhere and miles from my home and would be helpful friends. After 3 hours of looking and walking into poison oak and some other really nasty brush, a park ranger happened by. Together we drove his truck into that area, stood on the bed and looked around and eventually found the $400 plane nestled into this brush. I would have never found it....never. The ironical thing is that I was, at one time, within 75 feet of it and never saw it. My Drone Keeper would have helped me find it in less than 15 minutes. Can't afford anymore weight on this plane or cost so this device is Perfect! I will never be without it.

There are a number of PDB that have an alarm for low batteries and lost aircraft. The one I use is the Matek systems 5 in 1 V3. Great piece of hardware

Bingo!

Seems like a neat idea. Might try one for my LOS quad.

Any idea how long it will beep for on a full battery?
