features of trainer bald eagle, trainer seagull and trainer falcon
1, the only flapping bird with airfoil(profile wings) in the current market place. 2. maybe with longest flying time in the real rc flapping world (14.34min. recorded) 3, first with PET plastic recycled bottle as fuselage...it's light and durable. 4. reasonable price with good quality gears and covering materials (SK style) the shipping fee from Taiwan is so expensive,I'm working to it.... The best commercially available ornithopter to date ... In my humble opinion ...
Really amazing and admirable work ... It's your own breed of hybrid wing ornithopter ... simple . very long flight time ... glides amazingly well ...looks beautiful... seems durable .. based on the reinforced gearbox , I wish I can fly one of those really slow ... I love it Good luck with the shipping ... Best of luck and more success with coming up with new innovations ... Khaled |

Sam, what way are your fuselage new other than the feet? If I'm now mistaken, in your previous builds I have seen 2 or 3 that had a smooth fuse and not the bottle fuse...like the 1st seagull with the flat tail and the wing spoilers.
And what happened to This Masterpiece! ? This bird is Magnificent!! ( All your birds Are amazing) IMHO, if you produce a Great gliding bird that looks like this, you will be the a millionaire. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&postcount=148 |

trainer birds are made of plastic bottles designed for beginners. now I'm working on full FRP smooth fuselage scale look birds again because I'm not satisfied with old ones. there will be V-tail and flat tail smooth FRP fuselage scale birds with better flapping efficiency and gliding ratio in the near future...I hope... regards Sam |

Good video Sam *
Question, I need your expertise and knowledge. Based on this video, how effective would this tail be in turning a ornithopter? I'm sure you are familiar with these types of gliders since -I think- they originated in your country. Thanks *

the main wings are OK,but the tail could not perform well for effective directional control, they used most on flap and elevon...just a humble opinion.

modified the tail and tested on the gliding ratio of full FRP fuselage(fiberglass)this hot and humid morning
good gliding ratio and very easy to control despite 640 grams heavy flying weight. Sam
