new thread for the new year ![]() learned a lot from you nice guys last year ![]() love flapping things and this is simply for my retirement rc fun. built a new wing for the toy last week and maiden of the flapping bottle (eagle) this afternoon in the rain. span:1400mm length:800mm flying weight:470g with 3s1p 850mah lipo. cheers Sam GOPR2350

loving it they fly great Sam. I am jealous I haven't been flying as much as I could as I have brought a lovely American akita he is only young love him heaps. So training and enjoying him

first flight,but failed...
it's controllable but wrong CG ![]() will move back CG for about 30mm and try again soon. Sam

Great work Sam
So why not try using the dragonfly flapping mechanism to flap and actively twist single wing ...it will take some trial and error to fine tune the out of phase motion of the double spars but you will get there .. Good luck ... I know you can do it .. Khaled |

it's always nice to hear and learn from you. my tailless dragonfly had a hard crash 2 days ago and it takes time to fix. ![]() I'll study on the double spars concept per your advice. you are awesome and a nice gentleman to the ornis' world. regards Sam |
