I took the last one from Trinco (a friendly owner) and really excited to see how it performs.

this is how I tilt the gopro mount. it's just some foam from Cobra motors packaging.

trinco, what camera dimension would fit between those plates? or any recommendation that you would use? seems like those plate are more that 30mm apart. m preparing my fpv components for this frame that actually qualifies the 210mm category this coming race in singapore march.

Alright here are all the list of CCDs that will fit

HS1177 - $35
HS1179 - $29.99
HS1180 - $36.99
HS1185 - $15.99
HS1189 - $45

In general HS1177 is the most famous but if you're on a budget you can get HS1185. I suggest HS1177 because you can choose the connector position (Top). Most of these fpv cams has the connector position at the bottom and if you tilt the cam, the connector will definitely hit the bottom plate which is not good.

Dronematters also carry HS1177

thx trinco. sorry i was clear with my question. the camera plates are about >30mm apart from my guestimate relation to the fc mount, common fpv camera like hs11777 has 25x25mm or 26x26mm dimension. how to secure this camera nicely to the frame if to use those plates instead of camera included mount? alien frame has specific camera to fit in.

You can use the U-Mount that came with the cam but you have to be careful not to buy the old U-Mount that has only one hole. The newest U-Mount has 3 holes and you can use the center hole. Both U-Mounts are around 27mm height.

If im not mistaken most of these fpv cameras uses the same plastic case (PA1217).
I've tested HS1177, HS1180 & HS1185, all of them fit in just fine.

To those who would like to use "Custom Motor Mixer" these are the codes.
It will fly like a true square X quad.

Multiwii
Code:
motor[0] = PIDMIX(-1,0.788,-1);
motor[1] = PIDMIX(-1,-0.788,1);
motor[2] = PIDMIX(1,0.788,1);
motor[3] = PIDMIX(1,-0.788,-1);
Baseflight/Cleanflight before 1.10
Code:
mixer custom
cmix reset
cmix 1 1 -1 0.788 -1
cmix 2 1 -1 -0.788 1
cmix 3 1 1 0.788 1
cmix 4 1 1 -0.788 -1
Cleanflight from 1.10 onwards
Code:
mixer custom
mmix reset
mmix 0 1 -1 0.788 -1
mmix 1 1 -1 -0.788 1
mmix 2 1 1 0.788 1
mmix 3 1 1 -0.788 -1
