Looks really good!

Trinco,

Will you be launching an x frame?

Curious to your thoughts on the x frame.

Not for the time being.

Well it is because of the size. The gap between the prop and standoff is around 1.5 mm. The longer the arm the more flex you'll get, a slight small flex on the arm will cause the prop to hit the standoff. Raceblade or Alien frame are more like an rectangle X and not a true square X therefore the arm has to be longer. Since the gap is only 1.5mm theres no room for error unless the size is 230 or 250. That is one of the reason why but there are more and im just too lazy to type

Just ordered mine, wanted to order two but still owe you money (whooooopz) you are destroying me Trinco.

I like that there is the option to replace the arms possibly gives options to do stuff later down the road with the frame design.

So now I'll be up to five Trinco rigs, about a month of winter to go before I can fly and I won't know what to fly.

Im actually disappointed. Thought that you are coming out with an x frame. But kudos to you for the reasons that you explained. I respected your decisions. I do agree that longer arms will have flexes. To me. A frame doesnt really need to look like an x on the eyes.. Its the symmetry motor layout of an x that is important..

Nothing a motor mix can't fix, I have a deadcat style frame that flies like my Perfect X frame. Motor mixing fixes everything.

it's prolly the best flying machine both for racing and acro. I was testing out the proto for this frame but broke 2 motors in a hard crash before I can even upload a video of it LOL. I didn't use any custom mixer and PIDs for both roll and pitch is very close. btw, my proto build came down to 330g without lipo and gopro. I'm sure someone else can build it lighter.

I actually built a slightly modified RD-x frame. no doubt it's the most locked in machine I've flown and it really feels easy to fly it. but there's one thing I couldn't get my head over it - it felt much slower compared to an H frame in FFF. may be it requires a steeper angle of attack to go fast (me think).

Looks sick! Do you have any pictures of how the arms interface with each other (between the two sandwich plates?)
