I recently finished a 20" PCW with the edp 50 motor and prop and 7x350 2/3 AAA pack. It weighs 4.9 oz rtf, which is at the light end of the range. I was hoping it would be slow and aerobatic to fly in the backyard. Instead, it needs to fly at half to full throttle to fly at all. I'd like to see what your 27 inch wing "floats" like.

The plans for the scram-blur j250 call for mounting the battery on the surface of the wing. Since I plan to use a Kokam 2S 1500 isn't this a little risky for a lipo battery? I know I'm not supposed to crash but.......
Can I mount the battery 'in' the wing somewhere?
