The Limbo Combat God (a.k.a. Yours Truly) will smile benevolently upon the winner of the Limbo Combat event and anoint said winner with a new Zagi, a radio, more kits, batteries and countless other goodies. Current prize total is over $500 and rising. Remember, second place gets squat.

Bureaucrats and the MWE

See my post in the General Discussion Forum regarding our runway construction. It has been delayed until at least April, due to a two-bit bureaucrat's inability to make a decision without an in-depth "study". Afterall, how can you MOVE an EXISTING dirt runway a couple of hunderd feet in the interest of increased safety without an in-depth study? These people amaze me.

I will be there too!!

I am looking for volunteers for the EZone booth. Nothing to it really except a place to meet other zoners and give me a chance to fly and buy now and then.

Any takers?????????????

Looks like I'll be roomin' with Andy Clancy. Our plan is to show up with as many of the different Bees as possible. I'd be glad to do some time in the E Zone booth. Please let me know. Lookin' forward to this one! More soon, Steve.

Fred, I will volunteer to be at the Ezone booth. Do I have to pay admission and such?

I'll be there too. I'm working on a couple of jets and making a new prop for sp400 racing. Should be fun!

Hey Steve in Stockton....I'm Steve in Lodi. Have we met?

Hey Steve C. in Lodi.

I don't think we've met. I'm currently editing the newsletter for the Delta Valley Modelers and am out at Rough and Ready as much as possible. I've played a bit of music with Duke Wilkenson and have flown with Bob Barnett. I'd like to come up your way and fly sometime too.

In San Diego, just look for a whole bunch of Clancy's Bees and start introducing yourself. I'm sure we'll met there. More soon, Steve.

Sounds good Steve.

It's too bad about the new runway delay. Will we fly where we did at the last MWE?

The regular runway is fine for a lot of stuff, but for some of the big fast jets, it's a little short and the runoff is deadly. I hope Schubeler can land his Vector there.

I'll be there as well as commuting up to Torrey Pines for some evening sloping. Sunday we hope to head out to the inland slope areas i.e. Kong Hill and La Sierra.

I'll be sending you my itinerary for your approval.

Dr. E,

Don't leave too early on Sunday, or you will miss the Grand Finale: the First Annual Dr. Jet's Dreaded Limbo Combat. It's sure to be a crowd-pleaser. The carnage should be highly entertaining.
