I think i'll add my new (refurbished wing) its a speedwing 250 converted from a mini speed wing. recovered it, added more powerful motor and all is good in the world climbs to speck height in under a minute and in a vertical dive from speck height im sure it breaks 80 mph easily

Here is my first wing. It is a balsa kit made by CL-I-MAX models. Looking forward for the maiden flight...

Iv'e got Zagi's & Fixx's slope & electric, but this is what i consider to be a true flying wing. It's a Vampir, kitted by Robbe, about 15yrs ago i think. It's 12'6" span, & weighs 1.7 kg. I bought it recently off e-bay, as yet unflown. Wish me luck !! Ray

Here's my 42 inch wing - just a flat piece of foam with some filament tape added for . . . well, I forgot why I added it . . . but it flies well and is really fun . . . the only motor I had left was an Astro 020 fed with 2100 mAh lipo pack . . . small needle nose pliers taped to the bottom for balance . . . I think the HS-55's are not going to be enough for this wing and I'd like to replace them with HS-81's, or something similar. Dang, it's a hoot to fly and looks great in the air.

Just got back from the BIG NUTZ maiden flight. It is amazing how many different motor/prop combos will fly one of these nutz.Since I only have one brushless esc,and it is in another nutz that is too much fun to take apart,I decided to try the motor/gearbox/prop from one of my slow sticks.I was kinda windy, and I was a little worried,I need not have been. The bignutz flew like a dream!Even with the wind,it flew very well, hand launch easily, slowed almost to a feather to land! It is 76 inch w/s,flying weight 21oz.
My hat is off to Centexflyer for his design. Many thanks! This wing is to be my first AP platform. I will color it and make it look nicer now that I know it flies well

I am simply ASTOUNDED that your 76" Nutz flies on a 300 motor....... Well done! I can't imagine what you can do with a real powerhouse like maybe a SP400 or (gasp!) even a 480!

centexflyer,I hear ya! these things must fly by osmosis!from a piddly little edp50 on a 24inch,a j250 on a 35,a gb17 turn brushless on a 39,now this one with a geared 300!I went back this evening, hoping the wind would be less, nope, more if anything.flew anyway, had a blast.although once when I did a slow loop,it sounded like the prop was touching the rear of the wing.just cut the throttle, slow circles to land, straighten up at 5 feet, float down!ABSOLUTELY COOL!and not as slow as I thought it would be, flying it "crow" style into the wind is easy, did not seem to have a much of a tip-stall.dove for speed, did 1 roll(to the left)figured I'd crash, nope, not pretty, but a roll!too wierd to see this big thing doing that.
