I really like the Astro in the XS running an XT battery. Also the XE2 with Astro is really a nice wing. I now have an Aveox in the Unicorn. It is pictured with a stock motor but I have now gone brushless with it. I like them all and fly them regularly, even still like the 400X with Mega but had to add extra CF spars.
Ron have a lot of wings!! do you have a favourite?

RWP what do you estimate the top speed is on the brushless XT and can you tell us about the setup?

Simon-- I really don't have a favorite, I just like them all.
Lightnin--The XT is twin Mega 16/15/4's with twin ESC's. I made a Y harness leading to a single 10 cell pack of 1950FAUP's. The ESC's must be programmed to work together. As far as speed I'm not sure but it was so fast on the first flight with the 10cell pack that the plywood spar failed in level flight. It broke in 2 places. Wing folded like an inside out umbrella. Had to replace the plywood spar with a much heavier 5ply and better quality one and replaced the battery compartment/motor mount and repaired the foam where it broke and wing flies great after repairs without fear of it failing again. Motors were not damaged, just broke the props. Added a little extra weight but still a very fast wing with totally unlimited vertical. Fun to fly.

This is my Zagnut 52 with modified nose extension to get the CG right with out adding weight. Winglets are rubber banded on so they can come off on a bad landind and the Landing gear is packing tapped on for the same reason. ROG's and lands great.

Well here is my Overlord, been waiting on a new motor, so she has suffered the effects of a custom decal binge in the meantime
