I haven't done any slope flying yet. Looks like fun. I'm from Grants Pass area. New to area, if any locals can point me in the right direction, would love to try it.

Three of us headed to Sentinal Gap on Saddle Mountain yesterday. Met up with a group headed up the hill since we didnt know the route. Ended up flying on a corner of the hill by ouselves since we had a couple beginning slopers who get nervous around other planes.

Thanks for the hospitality Phillip, Steve, Chris, Melissa, Damian, Mike and Mike (think thats everyone I met). Next time well join the group.

Anyway it was a gorgeous day with 20-25 all day, had a blast. After flying we drove to Richland and spent the night. Got up this morning and headed up to Eagle. Anoher epic day at Eagle, 25-30 dead on the hill. Man that hill is fun to fly.

Will try to get a pict or two up and maybe a vid in the next day or two.

Here's a pict and quick video of Tom's first day sloping. I'm pretty sure the hook is well set!
