I have really been in a rut over this one and the plans for the Giant Lazy Cub.

I know how you feel, Ken.
Between Family, the job, and the volunteer work for the Church, I just don't have time for the hobby lately.

Simple Cessna 310 G

Is anybody around on this thread anymore. It seems to have died. Too bad it showed such promise a couple of years ago.

Getting close to finishing a prototype. Need to finalize the wiring (Y-harnesses), install the receiver, and secure the battery before first flights.

The punch list for the plans has 23 items, and likely a few more after testing the prototype.

Shaping up nicely. Once the windows and tailcone are in place, mmm-mmm-mmmh.

Thanks for the encouragement all.

First flight this morning. Easy to hand launch. On power-off stall, nose drops and wings say level; recovers with power. Plenty of aileron authority for rolls.

Still some fine-tuning to do on CG and control throws.

Good job Jeff

Sounds like a winner Jeff and looks like one also. It should be a winner and sounds like it will be pretty easy to fly. Keep up the good work.

Just a quick update. I worked through the punch list from the first prototype and have started on the second prototype.
