For 2016, we are changing up the Nor Cal Man on Man slope racing series. We are making changes in hopes to get more people involved in slope racing. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out and race.

This year we will race an open 60" class. Anything goes, 60" maximum wing span.

The series is a best 2 out of 3 (one drop). If only one race is run, winners will be selected from that race.

Race dates: March 13, April 24, May 7. No back up dates.

Awards for first, second, and third place will be given out at the NCSS end of year fun fly / banquet.

I am the CD for the first race, March 13. I hope to have the race at the Slot. If you have never been to the Slot this is a great way to visit one of the best inland slopes in the Bay Area. (AMA membership is required to fly at the Slot)

Typical wind in early spring is 25-30 mph.

As the race date draws closer, I will post announcements here.

Everyone should have one or two planes in their quiver that would qualify for this class!

That is exactly the reason I wanted to get this posted 'early'.

Time to build.

What are you thinking to race? Moldie? It will be great to have you out there dude.

I have been flying JW's a lot lately and might go that route. Definately more durable than a Speedo.

Lots of choices.

Yes ... moldies for sure ... I've got a couple of different designs that I've been toying with ... one that is more suited to big, rough air ... like the Slot ... and one that is better suited to lighter, smooth coastal air ... guess I'll have to do both!

Time to get the machines cuttin' and the resin flowin'

Cool! I just inquired about getting a partial Renegade Kit. Anyone else want to build Renegades?
