Hi Jesper et al.
I’ve just sold a NXT to a fellow with XLite Pro. I also sent him my NXT OTX file from my XLite Gen1 and he’s not able to use it. What would be the most likely reason? The error he gets says „Can’t extract RADIO/radio.bin“ Since I don't have Pro it’s difficult to iterate the origin.... |

I am guessing that it is because the Xlite Pro runs 2.3 beta software.

I saw that too at one point, don't remember what I did to get past it ... here's a 2.3 otx (x-lite pro profile) with one of my soarotx models-- that may help to get going

I just downloaded N68, but have been N62 for a week or so. these are my firmware options:
edit: note that while 'lua' is an option, 'luac' is no longer an option (nor is multimodule) --- recent versions of 2.3 removed those options, I think they are just enabled all the time though. Only matters if you are coming from 2.2 and wondering what happened to those choices |

This might be earlier in this thread, but there's a bug right now in 2.3 (https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/6472) and until that gets fixed you need to make a slight change to SCRIPTS/TELEMETRY/JF3K/SK.lua or you'll get a lua error:
in local function run (around lines 179), change Code:
local function run(event) if exitTask == -1 then -- Popup menu active local menuReply = popupInput("Save scores?", event, 0, 0, 0) ... Code:
local function run(event) if exitTask == -1 then -- Popup menu active --local menuReply = popupInput("Save scores?", event, 0, 0, 0) menuReply="OK" -- workaround for 2.3 missing popupInput ... All the rest of the SoarOTX stuff works (calibration, settings screens, etc) |

Question regarding maximum aileron deflection when switching flight modes
I don't know if this is implemented intentionally, but when I switch between the flight modes (Cruise, Speed, Thermal), the maximum upwards aileron deflection changes because of the added camber. Which means when I switch to Thermal mode, my upwards deflection is a lot less compared to speed mode.
I found a "dirty way" to get rid of this and get equal max. and min. deflections in all flight modes, but I am not happy with it. Do you know a good workaround to get equal deflections in all flightmodes? Thank you very much in advance! |

that happens to me too... I have always worked around it by editing the AIL and DIF global variables directly in the flight modes screen instead of using the SoarOTX configuration screen. If I try to edit differential with the SoarOTX screen, I get limited aileron travel in flight modes
