Ok guys. Just picked up a used one today. I am looking for a light controller that can be programmed to do different things.
I plan to use a 3 position switch. So I'd like to be able to set up like this
Switch 0 = off
Switch 1 = both light on
Switch 2 = light rotating on and off

Thanks for the help

I think you need to give us a little more detail as to exactly WHICH lights you want to switch - "both light on" - is this both wing landing lights or something else? "Light rotating on and off" - which light is a rotating light?

If you're handy with Arduino, openxsensor project has a light sequencer that is very capable. Just takes a transistor and a couple resistors for each light circuit you want to control. I built one for my super cub that handles landing, wingtip (red, green, strobes), tail lights and it works great.

It's just the 2 wing lights that came stock with the arf

I'd second the Arduino approach, because it offers a lot of flexibility:

RC/Drone Navigation Lights- Arduino Build & Code (2 min 8 sec)

My version of the system on the H9 CC "EI-LSA":

Hangar 9 Carbon Cub Arduino lighting (0 min 33 sec)

I'm assembling another H9 CC (as "D-EBET"), and this time plan to add an LED (single strobe/nav) on the rudder; sounds like your plane is already assembled, but if you're willing to re-hinge and recover, you could add that as well.

If you can make me one like you have in the video of the wing landing lights but add the other program form off and both lights on ...I'll pay you!!

OK. Take a look at Dimension Engineering's DElight system - it's quite versatile.

Gents - This little controller will provide everything you need as well and provides Eight switchable modes from a transmitter toggle. Use the lights in the package or clip two of the connector ends off and solder them to the LED's of the H9 CC. It's small and cheap and will power the correct voltage for the LED's by plugging the controller board into any open channel of the RX.

Personally I used this controller board on mine to provide the correct voltage and simple transmitter toggle On/Off using the gear switch:

+1 on that.. I've got a few of them in my aircraft..I like the software that comes with it.. so you can get an idea of what the lights will look like before you run them up in the airplane..

Hi ALL
I have just bought this plane and would like to ask a question did any one have a problem with the prop and spinner mounting i am using a elite power 60 470kv motor and 16x10e prop i could not get the prop and spinner on because the shaft on the motor was to short i have ordered a new prop adaptor from horizon eflm1926l was wondering if would not have the same problem with this because the spinner does not go on the shaft properly any help would be helpful. Ray.

Ray - Horizon has not updated the information on the parts page.....you are correct to order the collet adapter prop shaft for the Eflite Power60 motor......(Super motor for this bird):
1. If you are deploying the E-flite Power 60 Motor you need the longer prop shaft adapter (part #EFLM1926L) Prop Adapter w/Collet. Otherwise the prop adapter shipped with it is too short and will not have enough threads for the prop nut.
2. I had to use my prop reamer tool to open up the spinner back plate a few mm inset to allow the prop adapter to seat into the back plate...otherwise it was preventing the assembly to screw on tight enough to seat down the compression ring.
3. The back plate is very tight....but it will go on....still you may need to ream out a few mm of the back side as mentioned in #2 above.
4. My prop needed reaming out for proper fitment too

Good idea to get some more of these on hand as well: (Either size works)

Need some guidance. This is my first gas powered plane. I'll be installing the RCGF 21cc twin engine. My question is, what should I use for batteries and switches? I'm running all HV servos, so will be using 2s lipo's. I'm just not sure if I should run one or two batts, one or two switches, and what batt capacity.

Keep it simple, the CC is not a high performance plane. One battery, one switch, Tech-Aero IBEC for ignition. I like this heavy duty switch for my gas powered planes: https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...2&I=LXDGNL&P=K.
Can't help you much for capacity (I think I've said this before), as I run LiFe, but mine are 2600-3300mah and I can fly all day.

Very good, thank you! So far, I bought the Rcxel ign switch, a 2s 3600mah lipo, and a switch from PPP. So I should be fine with that setup then. I also got some stuff coming from PR Bushwheels.
