Got New Windows XP with MSN 6.0 - How do I get rid of the darn menu on the left???

I just upgraded today to Windows XP Home & am trying to get it sorted out. I have an existing MSN account so getting on the web was a piece of cake, However, this new MSN 6.0 has a goofy toolbar on the left that has stuff like "My City", My Calendar" "My Communities" & a "Serach the Web" box. The problem is that I have to sacrifice screen space in order to have this stupid menu on the left. How do I get rid of this menu so can see my whole screen?
-Thanks-

Well you can sign on to the net with MSN, and then just use Internet explorer for all your web viewing pleasure. Makes a lot more room available for web page content.
