Emax CF2805 any way to tell which KV?

I have an Emax cf2805 I bought a few years ago. I know it's about 100W motor. It comes in several different KV (1300,1700,2400) but I have no idea which one this one is.

Anyone know how to tell?

I figure maybe by counting the coils in the rotor or something like that but I'd need to know what the values are for each KV.

Go here and look at the test results. Mount it safely and securely, put a suitably small prop on it in case it's the highest Kv version and run it up with a wattmeter. Compare the current against the value predicted on the HeadsUp RC site. The Kv values are different enough that the answer should be conclusive.

Don't have a wattmeter yet? - if you're not flying plug and play or bind and fly models, it should be the first purchase before building your own power systems
