From their eBay listing: **For some reason, the automatic shipping calculator seems to be very high. If you are seriously interested, send me a message and I will quote actual shipping costs**
I'll be a Ringtaileddoodybird. I didn't catch that. It must be messed up on a lot of auctions because several are crazy high on the shipping. Thanks for pointing that out.

For giggles, I went to the trouble of seeing what that package would cost me. I did Ebay, Priority Mail, and Parcel Select for 92xxx from 90xxx. For those methods, the calculators came up with $74.73, $28.20, and $11.57. I think Ebay has a major oops.

Shipping costs to me has always been an issue so I do look at the cost very carefully before considering any item.

This item is a fully built plane. 109" wing span. So when I look at the $793 shipping I am not totally surprised.

Still I will never entertain the thought of buying anything that cost me close to $800 to get here.

Now when I look at this item:

I don't know what kind of shipping cost you get when you click on it because the calculated shipping for you maybe different for a different location. However this is a $19 buy it now item and the shipping cost for me is $689.97!!!!! Ok not that I am going to buy this wing but sometimes I wonder how the shipping cost is calculated.

Then there is this foamie with a $451.54 shipping cost to me.

On the other end of the scale Omni is offering this Timber with free shipping. Wing span is 110".

I like the "function" description; Up/Down, Forward/Backward, Rollover. Sounds like you could teach that old dog some new tricks.

Shipping to Michigan is only$34.98. I'm tempted.

I'll bet it would be cheaper in a flat envelope!

"...so it would just need some wood and glue to get it back together..."

Yeah, and a bunch of new wood to replace all the rotted water damaged pulp that's miraculously holding it together now.

In the photos it looks wet. I think he must have found it in a pond.

Anybody want to guess what it actually is? Certainly not a Mustang, but I don't recognize it.

The garden slug in the first photo is a nice touch.
