What in the world... I have no idea what is even going on with that fuselage. lol. I think we have less than half of a plane there.

The servo holes look like a typical standard servo so no way it dates before 1980. lol RC in the 20's? haha

Maybe he's dating it by the wheels. It has pinned hinges, I don't think they came out until the late 60's maybe early 70's. I like the tailwheel. When did NyRods come out?
Could it be an autogyro?

Yeah in all reality it looks more like an autogyro... the two vertical servos on the side are strange for a plane and the general layout of the body look more like an autogyro.

I would love to have an Aerostar 60 actually... and it looks like the airframe is in decent shape aside from the bottom of the vertical stab. Assuming that's a 60 FP and that it still turns over and has good compression, I'd probably give him $75.
