Chessington indoor model flying dates (2016)

We have just been advised of the dates we are allowed to fly indoors at Chessington Community College during 2016, they are as follows:

January (8th & 22nd)

February (5th & 26th)

March (11th & 18th)

April (8th & 22nd)

May (13th & 27th)

June (10th & 24th)

July (8th & 22nd)

August (12th & 26th)

September (9th & 23rd)

October (14th & 21st)

November (11th & 25th)

December (9th & 16th)

The full address is Chessington Community College, Garrison Lane, Chessington, Surrey, KT9 2JS

Link to map is here.,+england

The cost remains 8 per adult and 4 for under 16's.

Planes, helicopters and quads will be welcomed.

We will have access to the atrium from 6:00pm till 8:45pm and the main hall from 8:00pm (or earlier if no basketball) till 8:45pm.

Summary of rules:

- Proof of insurance required - I've just got my annual renewal form so please don't forget; I will be checking.

- Maximum model weight is 500g.

- Do not do things that will annoy other people.

There are plenty of power sockets if you need to charge batteries.

Lots of free parking.

Always someone on hand who will be happy to help beginners with problems and setup.

I will be awarding a prize (new BNF plane) and trophy on 16 December to the most improved flier in 2016 - as determined by myself, my decision is final.

If any dates or rules change then I will make updates to this thread - so feel free to subscribe or keep coming back to check.

Please feel free to post questions here so I can provide answers that may help others.

Many thanks, John

Nice - I like the dogfight. I wonder how long before we can hit a transmitter button that momentarily disables the victims power unit like the Tamiya tanks.

Good choice of music.

The Chessington club requires insurance - can you suggest some providers?
