I've resisted asking, but I just can't figure it out. The occasional "Bold" typeface on the threads is bewildering. It doesn't seem to be based on the thread having been read, or new, or subscribed to, or a new post being added.

Someone enlighten me please.

I reckon it must be somethig like "more posts since you last visited"

Yep...... new posts since you last visited (not including using the back button) will be bold.... notice that after you read the thread, it un-bolds.

Irsudog, thanks for asking, and while we are at it, why the green button with the arrow that leads to the last post on some? tt

Put your cursor over the green arrow....ad it'll say "Go to first new post"

I thought so too, but sometimes it goes bold even with no new posts.

I feel like such a rube using all this fancy technology stuff. tt
