Well my 50A ESC wasn’t happy, pulsing and getting too hot. So I’ll put in a 65A that I have laying around. Flew it twice reduced the elevator again for the 2nd flight. Now low rates are 60% on my radio. Stall is a prolonged mush before the break. Plenty of warning. One good landing one so so. (Bad)

I'd be interested in whether the stall in a banked turn is any different. Mine snaps in quite nastily. I did find a stress fracture in my wing though, so it may have been flexing awkwardly, and the fuse has been rebuilt which may alter things too.

What was up with the ESC? I don't push mine, but it has the 4-blade 10.5x8 and only on a 40A ESC, if you are on the stock prop, I'd be amazed that it's taxing a 50A ESC. I'd better do a WOT check...

The stall was quite nasty till I reduced elevator. Didn’t try a bank and yank yet. The ESC was from my EFX and who knows what the timing was. The FMS ESC says 55A for 10 sec so the HK one may not not have that much headroom. They are both the same size. The 65A should fix that. Helped a guy maiden a fuel plane today and I did one flight with my 1100mm Bearcat. What a pleasure to fly compared to the Typhoon!

I have 17% at mid stick and 43% at full deflection (on low rates). For some reason I'm using a curve and not simple % of throw and some expo.

Someone was flying a little Bearcat at our recent warbirds day and greasing the landings. Looked nice. Slightly shorter nose on the Tiffy, but really you'd think they ought to be similar.

It’s just another FMS pilot from another plane. I don’t have a 3D printer.

Not from the same planet

After flying the typhoon this Monday , and comparing it to the arrows 1100mm p51 i defiantly see the weight draw back, but seems to handle just fine no tip stalling or bad tendency's , more frontal drag for sure , will install a 1250kv in the front as i think it could use a bit more low end power. The p51 is effortless, ,

Finally flew mine with full rocket complement. This is with a 1511 inch apc prop and a 770kv Durafly Spit motor and a 2200 mah 4S and now no lead in the nose. It flew very nicely and didn't need more than half power. I kept the 40A ESC and did a power check before takeoff, I don't actually know what full power would draw, it was well under 40A feeling like it would have 1:1!

You might want to look at the rockets off the 800mm Corsair
