Question

Plastic or Glass Fiber Composite

I'm building a ZMR250 for FPV racing and don't know if I should use Plastic or Glass Fiber Composite propellers. If the answer is 'either' then it would be great if folks could commend on advantages/disadvantages.
Thanks!

Edit: I just noticed that nylon was another choice

Glass Composite: https://www.multirotorsuperstore.com...composite.html
Plastic: http://www.banggood.com/Gemfan-5x3-I...-p-937866.html

I have the plastic ones from Banggood. They seem very very fragil.

It is no doubt that the strength of GF pro is higher then Plastic relatively.
The material of pro should not be the key evaluated standard.
Matched-degree with motors is the first factor.
Dynamic balance and static balance of prop r the second one,
Commonly, many our customers choose to use plastic.

Thank you Foxtechsteven,
What most people are doing is plenty good enough for me at this stage.

In general for the first flights, training or testing of the new or changed build I'd recommend using soft(-er) plastic props as they're more flexible and less likely to crack / shatter upon impact, hard land or crash. Once you'll get your flying skills up and craft tested and tuned up move to more stiff props to keep the craft more stable with less vibrations ending eventually with CF (carbon fibre) props which are very hard and stiff but brittle and easy to crack or break.
