I'd like to get some help on a future project- a Pica 1/12 Corsair e-conversion. I believe it was orignally for a .15-.25 glow power. Here's some stats:

Since I have minimal electric experience. I was wondering if someone could suggest a motor/battery/controller setup? Something along the lines or brushed/brushless and NMH/NICAD or LiPO combos.

I did that plane with an AXI 28/20/10 on 8cells and an 11x7 APC. It flew, but was only adequate. The kit is VERY heavy. I did not lighten it enough. Perhaps it would be better today with a Lipo setup (the Battery alone on mine weighed 14oz.)

Unless you already have it, I would consider looking at one of their "electric versions", if they ever reappear from their "move"
