Dumas Big swamp buggy?

The owner of the company I work for has a project.
From what I can tell it is a Dumas big swamp buggy. He has 2. They were his dads. Measures 30" long by 18" wide. He wants me to convert it to electric and put a moder radio in it. Current power is an O.S. 40 or .46 LA. Has anyone here done such a project? Is this even the place for questions about such a beast? I do appreaciate any input! I figure a 2+ channel surface radio and a 60 size outrunner on 6s 5000 oughta wake it up?

That sounds like severe overkill on motor and battery. A quick Google search will turn up a few electric conversions of this model. One of the YouTube videos I just watched even listed the specific motor and esc they used. Be careful of your center of gravity.

I was being a bit sarcastic on the motor. 10s 450? I did not see much in my search... Good point on the cg!

Looks like he used a 3548-1100 kv with a 11x6 prop on 3s. Decent performance it appears.

Yes. I like the way that one handles. It seems more stable and easier to maneuver than my Cajun Commander. The key might be the tunnel hull form.
